Since Monday, November 12, we've been working hard to discover what exactly our new unit is all about. We've explored artifacts and provocations, including food containers, photographs, bean bags with pictures of food items, books, our own lunches, and computer games. We've worked together to make connections and sort out key words.
Here's what we've come up with so far. The words "process" and "food" on the green fabric represent words that are in the central idea. The sentences on big yellow sticky notes represent predictions of the central idea. The words on sticky notes around the green fabric represent words that are connected to the unit.
