Showtime Topics
In Grade 1AC much of our learning is based around oral discussions and verbal expression of our thinking. Showtime is an additional routine that encourages confidence in oral language.
Children are responsible for a once weekly presentation. Presentations will take various forms. They may be in front of the whole class or, more likely, in small group scenarios. Discussion topics will be linked to class inquiries and presentations need not be more than 2 minutes in length.
Please support this class routine at home by helping your child prepare their response to the weekly discussion topic. At-home practice prior to the presentation will help your child’s confidence and fluency.
Please stay tuned to this page for weekly Showtime topics.
