At one station, we sequenced events in the story using pages from the book. At the next station, we used cut-out pictures of settings and characters to retell the story through puppetry and dramatization. Children used the ipad to photograph and film their work. At the final station, we drew pictures and wrote about the beginning, middle, and end of the story.
Later in the week we had a surprise visit from Julia's mom (Grade 1CC) to teach us sign language. We were lucky enough to have her tell us the story of Little Red Riding Hood through sign!
